Louisville, Ky: Javanon FC is excited to announce their acceptance to the Girls National Academy League (NAL). The league will comprise over 40 teams split amongst four conferences. The girls Mid-America North & South Conferences consist of the following Girls Academy (GA) clubs: Indy Premier, Cincinnati United Premier, Lexington Sporting Club, Michigan Jaguars, FC United, SC Wave, Galaxy Soccer Club & St Louis Development Academy.

The Girls NAL will provide a national platform for the U13-U19 girls teams to compete at the highest level while still having eligibility to compete locally and regionally in state competitions.

The Girls NAL will mirror the Boys NAL, which serves as a 2nd tier for MLSNext clubs. Javanon FC, among other clubs, helped lead the launch of the Boys National Academy League in the fall of 2023 to provide a national platform for our 1st and 2nd tier boys teams. The girls program is now part of the league as well.

“We’re thrilled to announce our participation in the Girls NAL starting this fall of 2024/2025,” stated Thuto Nhlekisana, Director of Club Operations at Javanon FC. “Our leadership has worked diligently to bring this to fruition for the girls program. The league will offer highly competitive games in a club vs. club format while minimizing travel for our families and providing meaningful collegiate exposure at their elite national events. We look forward to further enhancing the development of our female athletes through the Girls NAL which we believe is the best platform for us.”

Participating clubs in the Mid-America conference will have the opportunity to play in 3 regional events and 1 of the following national events; the IMG College Showcase in December or the National Academy League Championships in June 2025.

Javanon FC will be holding tryouts for the Girls National Academy League teams in May & June for the 2024/2025 season. Tryout registration information can be found at www.javanon.org/tryouts
